New RPR server, blazingly fast, 128 listener capacity at 128k, 44.1, stereo, CHECK. New station manager, CHECK. New content, CHECK. DNS all set up and happy, CHECK. Our server ran (notice, ran, past tense), for an amazing 12 hours STRAIGHT! Then the power supply crapped out. I'm under the impression that an army of geeks at some dimly lit data center in California are currently running around franticly with tools and such. ...heres hoping.

Finally! RPR received it's long awaited upgrade. It's new warp engines. It's giant eBalls (iBalls if your a mac fanboy). We should now be able to support 128 simultaneous listeners instead of the 6 or so our craptastic residential cable allowed us! We came. We saw. We ROCKED! Our show at The Bank was phenomenal. Many thanks to Terry, Clay, EPP, etc. The after-party was good too. Cheap Bros followed us along for the homecoming excitement and captured some awesome footage that we will be sharing with ya'll in the weeks to come! Props to them as well! Big props from EMPulse Records to MCRT and all of Florida Nerdcore for the fantastic experience out in Gainesville on Sat. Proto-Geeks owned Tim and Terry's for 12 hours of Nerd Power! Koga, Wreckshin, everbody represented in full effect forming mind numbing rap madness, and RPG was proud to be a part of Nerdapalooza East. We'll see ya'll real soon. DOH! After two days of troubleshooting it seems our RPR problems have been solved. No thanks to the dirty bastards at Bright House Networks. Seems our 'static' IP isn't quite as static as the name implies. However! All the tubes here have been fixed and RPR's Nerdcore Radio is back to streaming directly in to your earballs. Look for us in Gainesville next weekend! We'll be the geeks surrounded by beers and awesome.

Whaaaaaaat up, PROTO-GEEKS! I know it's been about a grip since we dropped any news on ya, so here it go! First, Florida Supercon was the ATOM BOMB! All of us, here at EMPulse Records had a fabulous time, and received Grade A, VIP-type treatment from the promoters! Props to them! Oh and did I forget to mention that ROCKET PROPELLED GEEKS tore it up not once, but TWICE?! They had a little dork party late Friday night, but turned it up to eleven for the big Saturday blow-out! Proto-geeks were turning into zombies, converting to COBRA Vipers, swallowed by a Sarlaac pit, and chillin in Hyrule all within the 40 minutes of musical flavor storm that rained down on their faces and collected in their ear-holes! We hope to see more of you come out to the next dork party in Gainesville Aug 25th and Tim and Terry's. More on that to come. In other news, Yellow Alert was preempted last week due to unforseen malfunctions with the Interent, but fear not! We'll be back soon, and with a special treat for everybody that has us all very excited! Stay tuned to this web site for updates on that as well! Until then, I'm out like Hammer's financial advisor!

Just got back from Megacon. The part of the convention center the con was held in was much smaller this year, and I've finally learned why Han didn't crawl in the taunton with Luke. Personal Space. There was none this year, and it almost impossible to actually get to any of the dealer booths.

Holy crap, the website is somewhat up.
